πŸ“‹ Project Templates

Create consistent issue templates by pre-filling priority levels, components, or custom field values that are standard for your project.

πŸ”„ Recurring Issues

If you regularly create similar types of issues (like weekly reports or standard requests), save time by auto-filling repetitive information.

✨ Onboarding New Users

Tips & Best Practices

🎯 Start Simple

Begin by configuring defaults for just 2-3 fields that your team uses most frequently. You can always add more later.

πŸ‘₯ Coordinate with Your Team

If multiple people have access to configure defaults, communicate about changes to avoid confusion.

πŸ” Review Periodically

Set a reminder to review your default values every few months to ensure they're still relevant and accurate.

πŸ“ Document Your Defaults

Consider maintaining a team wiki page that lists which defaults are configured and why, especially for new team members.
